With a degree in child development and a career defined by long-term placements, Jill has repeatedly remained with families for years, 

Jill believes lasting relationships depend on more than childcare experience. They thrive with aligned expectations and by choosing families whose rhythms and values genuinely fit their own.

A talented nanny is not automatically the right nanny for every home, and a wonderful family will not be the right employer for every caregiver.

That lived experience shapes every pillar, question, and standard on Fillmore.

Where It Began

The right experience did not exist. So we began building it.

The year is 2019,  Jill, working as a professional nanny and navigating dating apps in her twenties, noticed a disconnect. Dating apps allowed for people to showcase their values with prompts and those that limited swipes and likes made more meaningful connections. 

Yet families and nannies, entering one of the most intimate working relationships there is, were left to scroll and had no way to evaluate compatibility before meeting. 

She believed there should be another option:

more thoughtful than a broad marketplace,

more accessible than a traditional agency,

and built to consider compatibility from the start.

That belief became Fillmore.
